The motivation question is the mean to introduce the reading ‘Antonio, sus amigos y los deportes’. This short reading comprehension is going to target some previously learned vocabulary about sports and the equipment necessary to practice them.
The students will be divided in groups of three, they’ll be grouped by ability.
They will have to:
a. Read the story.
b. Answer questions 1 and 2.
c. Create a poster with a chart like the one given to them.
They will be given all the needed supplies: scissors, glue, paper, picture and markers.

By answering the comprehension questions and creating the poster the students will be demonstrating their understanding of the reading and the domain of the target vocabulary.

Some tips: lo importante es que elijas un sitio que te guste y te quedes tanto como sea posible, eso es lo que quieren, por eso se gastan tanta pasta (aunque creo que es bilateral). Tú no te pongas nervioso, entra como si fueras profesor/a y te los vas a comer con patatas; viste formal, traje pantalón/falda, uñas super arregladas, zapatos buenos, pelo impecable, maquillaje natural (olvídate del tejano), inglés de la muerte y prepárate pero que muy bien toda la entrevista, nunca digas a nada que no, al menos puedes ser diplomático y decir: I didn't consider that option, but it could be a good idea... etc. Búscate un americano y a practicar, olvida la terminología inglesa rancia (nada de have gots o de ought to); si no tienes amigos, pága tus clases preparatorias o hazte amigo de alguien que pueda ayudarte.
